Iluuna is a closed aluminum boat with heating in the cabin and access to toilet. The boat is approved for 10 passengers and it is possible to get out both in front and behind the cabin to enjoy the trip, the view, take pictures and more. Boat Qorsuk – 5pax

The Qorsuk is made of aluminium and is approved for 6 passengers. There is heating in the cabin, but no toilet on board. The stern is spacious so you can come outside to take pictures, enjoy the view and so on. The Qorsuk has a 450 horsepower Mercury engine and is a very fast-moving boat. Eqi Glacier

After almost 2 hours sailing north of Ilulissat, we reach the Eqi Glacier. We sail to the approximately 5 kilometer wide glacier — but at a safe distance, because the glacier often calves. When the boat's engine shuts off and you stand on the deck, the silence will only be interrupted by bangs from pieces of ice that break off and fall into the water.

Despite having fewer than 40 residents, Oqaatsut boasts a small shop, bed & breakfast, restaurant mainly open during summertime. The residents of the village are mainly hunters who gather ice to melt for water and hunt for their own food. They live a simple lifestyle surrounded by the ruggedness of nature. The only way to reach it is by snowmobile, dog sled or by boat in wintertime. Overall, visiting this village is a chance to disconnect from the modern world and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. It’s a humbling and inspiring experience that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for the simple things in life. If we’re lucky, we’ll get to see the frozen lakes and admire the bubbles of air trapped between the sharp cracks. Meet sled dogs – Ilulissat

We invite you to feed a pack of sled dogs, where you get to see and touch, and not least hear a group of howling dogs. The dog owner will demonstrate how they use the sled, harnesses, the whip and talk about life as a sled dog. This is an extraordinary experience, that you only will get to experience here in Greenland. If you are lucky, you can help out to feed the dogs. Please keep your distance from the dogs, when arriving at the dog kennel. The owner will show you which dogs are safe to pet. Remember practical clothing. There may be dirt in the dog area. Whale Tour

01st of June till 31st of August. The sound of the whale blowing (when the whale sprays water out) reveals that it is swimming past the boat. You can see the back of the whale sticking up above the water surface as it calmly moves forward. It sprays water out a few times before making a flick of the tail and diving down again. If you are really lucky and come in the middle of mealtime, you can see the whales sticking their mouths above the surface in an attempt to fill it with ammasetter.
